Sounds like maybe her ANC is starting to recover?
The mouth sores should clear up as her ANC rises. Steven never had mouth sores in Memphis, but I've seen them and they're hideous.
Did they give her "magic mouthwash" for the sores?
I feel so bad for her with all the sores and swollen gums. And a bladder infection just to top it off.
Let's pray her ANC rises soon so her body can take care of this stuff.
This morning was horrible. She was crying in pain. :( ( SO WAS I) She had fever all day long . Highest 38,9. Yes, she got magic mouthwash.
Worst part was... She woke up crying- MY HEAD HURTS. OUCH, OUCh, my head hurts, I want some medicine.... OMG. I freaked out. I started crying no way, tumors are growing, OMG OMG... Knowing tumors behavior , that's when they usually bother most. Now she is doing better. We did little Shake your booty dance when all the other "roommates" left for lunch.. Regina has been very talkative... ALSO. Nick emailed DR Dhall last night, and somebody came in to tell my neighbors to be quiet .. But sadly, tv was turned on after 10 pm again and pretty loud... Oh well. Next time when somebody comes in and tells me about rules- I just pretend -Me not speak english..
When are her scans?
I wish they could just scan her now. I'm not a patient person.
BTW, Steven's scans are that week of August 21. Seems like hers will be near that same time.
Just keep bugging the doctors about your roommates. But the nurses about any noise, that's just not all right when you've got 3 families in one room for anyone not to obey the rules.
Start with these:
Por favor apague el televisiĆ³n, no puedo dormir.
If that doesn't work:
"Apague el televisiĆ³n AHORA!"
I'd be emailing Dr. Dhall and Dr. Finlay every day, politely asking for a more private room and also asking exactly what conditions a patient has to satisfy to qualify for one of those rooms.
It makes me so mad.
I hope that tomorrow will be better day!!!
It's kind of unbelievable that people don't follow so simple rules. At the hospital where kids are very sick!
Have you tried talking in Estonian? I bet it will get them to listen you! :)
Good night!
