Friday

Today was no school for REgina. Public schools celebrate here every holiday and since it was Veterans day, she got day off. I did my 40 minutes of cardio workout and then I took Regina to see movie Chicken Little. But oh boy, what a surprise when we arrived at movie theater. At 11.15 Parking lot was full, parking structure was full. It is not some little movie theater. It is huuuge plaza with shops and restaurants and usually at that time of day it is never full, infact, It is almost empty. After driving around we finally found parking spot. THen the real fun started. We had to wait on line for 35 minutes to buy ticets. We wanted to catch 11.30 show, instead we got 12.10 show . We also planned to buy popcorn and drinks, but line inside was even longer than outside and because of that I decided not to buy snacks. Regina got really upset and mad at me for not following her rules. But I won anyway. lol

Chicken little was ok movie. It had some funny jokes inside but in overall NMS. I did like the message this movie was sending out to parents. lol Go see, then you'll know what I am talking about !!!

I did not take Gabe to see this because he was preview of this movie( that preview that kind of looks like war of the words) , and he got scared and did not want to go to see it :)

Hi,

My name is Christine Pikor. I live near Buffalo, NY (where the snow is about to fly)I am a nurse in the Poison Control Center at Childrens here and my son was just recently dx with a brain tumor. I turned out to be a low grade glioma very large in his left frontal lobe. We were devasted of course hence I found this support group. I wanted to let you know that I frequently return to Reginas site to see how she and family are doing. Her site has really touched me. Your pictures are beautiful and you are so real. Thank You I has been an inspiration to me. I'm so computer dumb that I haven't yet figured out how to get my sons pictures on his blog but I keep trying.
I remember reading that your husband was away for a while. I give you alot of credit for doing all you do. I have 3 kids and am often alone I know how hard that is sometimes. Anyway - thank you again. I'll lood forward to the next adorable picture and post.

Hi,
Thank You I was hoping you would reply. I felt too guilty asking for your help directly. You know I did download those things but for some reason when I hit add image icon I just get a square with ared x in it even though I loaded the pictures onto the site. It could be b/c I'm at work and that site is blocked.
Ryans doing good. He had a complete resection luckily. His tumor had a higher rate of mitosis than nomally seen with the low grade ones so I am nervous as hell about recurrence. The first MRI was grueling. I saw enhancement in the tumor bed which I thought was the darn thing coming back already, but apparently thats normal scar tissue enhancement. So for 25 mins in the waiting room before talking with the radioloogist I knew what it felt like for it to come back. I hope that day never comes.
I'm really glad Regina is doing so well considering her dx PNET. It must have been so hard going through all of the treatment you had to. I really feel for you. Despite all this rotten illness puts us and our children through it sure does makes the little moments in life sweeter sometimes dosen't it?
Anyway I'm not done with this blogger thing yet
Thanks
Christine
