Build A Bear..

REGINAS FRIEND HEATHER turned 7 !!! We were invited to celebrate his birthday in Build A Bear. I think it was cute party. :) Regina had fun But Gabriel was really shy and quiet at first and wanted to get out of there , but finally, when it was time to leave the place HE WANTED TO STAY. I swear, I do not understand what is going on with my boy....

After build a bear we all opened presents, had lunch and ate cake at the same mall. Regina got really sad since she had very hard time sharing Heather with others. She does better when she is one in one with Heather, but when there are other kids around she just feels sad because she thinks Heather does not love her enough. :( So I tryed to explain her at home that it was Heathers birthday and all those kids were heathers friends and Heather loves all of her friends equally. :):):):):)
Now guys send some good reovery vibes on your way- Heathers mom is haveing surgery on this coming friday. She really does need to recover fast because she is teacher and she needs to go back to her school week after surgery( Right B???)

This picture is taken few months ago. ( Gabriel , Regina , Riley and Devin), I am not sure if I ever posted this, but I LOVE this shot. We went out with our neighbors and friends and kids had a blast playing and just running around. :)

So today Regina scared me a little. As I was cleaning up after breakfast this morning I suddenly hear Reginas sad little voice. "Mommy, I am really dizzy right now, I can not sit down, I have to lie down right now. So I stopped what I was doing and hurried to help her. After 30 minutes she told me that she is not feeling dizzy anymore and she is ready to play now. BUT of course the first thought that raced to my mind was-- OH NO.....( You know what comes next). I think that she needed a little sugar rush to take over and so we baked cupcakes after she was feeling better. Now she is back to normal and is playing computer games...

Tomorrow we are going to Reginas friend Bday party in Build A Bear. It will be lots of fun. :):):) She has been asking about this party every day since we got invite. :)


And Soon is Reginas Birthday and I still have no slightest idea what to do. We went to mall and they had on shop for girls and they do "Girly" partys there for kids, BUT minimum cost for Bday is 300 dollars and price per kid is 50 dollars ( so , if we want to invite 12 kids it will be 600 dollars+ cake and treats .... WAY to expencive, she really liked that store but NO way I am going to spend close to 1000 dollars for 1,5 hours.

Second option is Chucki Cheeses- it is 11.95 per person and I could pull it off + it will be fun for boys and Girls same time :) I have couple of more days to think about it and I hopefully make up my mind pretty soon because September 19th is almost here.

We are doing good. :)

Reginas growth hormone testing went really well. Her blood sugar was healthy low to start with ( 53) and when it reached 23 ( dangerosly low), she did not have any major problems. She did fall asleep and got really sweaty and tired, but after it was over , they gave her some sugary apple juice and crackers, and her sugar went up to100. AND she did not cry when nurse inserted 2 IVs to her( one for emergency ) . I was so proud of her. :)

The whole week in memphis was filled with fun activites. They had Target Carnival and Regina got lots of new toys and "junk" from there. Then we wisited Target house every day because of Camp Wishing Well - we did lots of arts and crafts and ate WAY to many burgers and other BBQ foods. lol. On friday ( last day of Camp Wishing well) target house had back to school night. Every kid got a back back.- Regina chose My little pony bag with wheels, and then they had stations set up downstairs and we got to fill her back pack with all kinds of stuff needed for school- binders, markers, crayons, dictionarys, notebooks, pens, rulers and much more. I think her backpack weighed at last 15 lbs because of all the paper stuff. :) It was really , really fun week. :) And I am just amazed with regina how patiently she dealed with everything.

She also had 6 hour psych testing. 3 hours in tuesday and 3 hours in wednesday. I knew that if I was going to be in the room she will not perform as well as I was out, so I stayed out of the room:) But I was told that she did AWSOME with everyhting. They were really impressed with her math skilles and solving super hard puzzles that even some high school kids can not . So WTG Regina. AND she was happy to do it. She told me that It is just like school only better, because she got a big prize after each testing:)

We allready got our schedule for next time and then we only have 2 days of appointments ( november 12 and 13 I think) MRI and Patient screening. Of course these 2 apointments are scheduled on 2 different days. DUMB.

Now I CAN not wait till school starts. I am so ready to enjoy some ME time. Even though it is only 3,5 hours, I am exited about it.

AND I am going back to college. YES!!! This cemester I only enrolled 2 online classes, but that is better than nothing- psychology and Excel. I think I will change my major to nursing . Well, I am pretty sure about it. I am not exited about how much books cost and that Price per unit is 26 dollars.( 2002 it was 11 dollars per unit) Thanks Arnold.!!!!!

Regina has hard day tomorrow. 8 am she will be admitted for growth hormone testing and it will be no fun testing.
Lots of poking and it will make her very, very sick. I was told that she may die ( of course they have to warn me and give me worse case cenario) as a result of this test, but it is needed to help her in the future. If test show that she is not growing the way she should, then I have to inject her daily with growth hormoes until she is about 14-16 years old.

So , I am really hoping that tests show that she is doing fine. ::()

Today she had audiology testing ( hearing). Her hearing is pretty much the same. her left ear is full of wax. They are trying to schedule appointment for tomorrow to get wax out. Her hearing loss is getting little worse but not bad enough for hearing aid. :) I just have to let her teachers know that she can not hear very well when there are lots of people talking or lots of background noise.

Her psychological evaluation is going good also. I was told that she is very brigh young lady ;) Her IQ testing was above average. Good for her :)

On friday we have growth hormone testing. And after that we are ready to fly home.

Oh, btw, she did her MRI's without sedation, And everybody is amazed that she can do it. Because there are older kids ( 15-16 year old) who still need sedation for mris. :) And she did not make a sound when nurses had to draw her blood :) Since she has really tiny veins, they had to find nurse who is really good with cases like this. They had to wrap her to warm blanket for 15 minutes to get her warmed up and after that her veins popped up. lol :)

We are doing good. We have been home from China for a week now and loving it. Weather is just perfect. OC rules ;)

Regina did awsome during her 30 day stay in China. I have never seen her so healthy for a such a long period of time. No cough, no allergies. She ate chinese food and loved it. ( well of course she only ate foods that looked appealing to her - smart girl.) She had fun playing with her cousins and MOSt fun she had was when Nick took her to her company so kids could play with computer. So , one of the reasons Regina LOVES china is, that Daddys work has computers. lol

i did not do as well as Regina did. I had 2 blood poisonings, ( after mosquitos bite me) , 2 food poisonings- I am still recovering from last food poisoning. Not fun. I loved all the awsome tourist attractions- Great wall, Summer palace, Forbidden city, West lake in Hangzhou, Many different temples, Black dragon Waterfalls, Yangtze river sightseeing spots, Three Gorges Dam, SHANGHAI- My favorite city in whole world, and many more interesting places. Nick hates china , he hates chinese food, and weather and tourist spots. lol Great.....

Now- Our St jude trip is coming up soon. We will be there from 6th-12th. All our days are full of apointments and screenings.-2 mri's, spinal tap, psych. testing, audiologi, endorcine clinic- growht hormone testing , speech, function studies, couple of labs, echo/EKG.

Hopefully everything will go smoothly and we get nothing but good news :):):)

I took this pic last time we were in Memphis. Regian and Keilen ( sp? sorry Felicia, I have no Idea how to spell your DD name. ) met up in 2004, when we were in Ronald Mc Donald house. Keilen is ALL patient and doing awsome. I am not sure when her treatments will end, but she is doing good and is cancer free now. :) Anyway, I was not expecting to see them there, but while standing on line and trying to sigh in, I heard someone calling our name. :) Keilen is sweetest girl ever. She has lots of energy and really funny sence of humor. lol She craked us up all the time. :) Behind Regina is. K sister Kennedy. :):):) I do miss chit chatting with Keilens mom Felicity. There is never dull moment when she is around ;)

Our Trip to china starts in few days. Our suitcases are packed , I cleaned up my refrigirator and I have never seen it so empty. lol

But, last night Regina started coughing. So instead of me taking her to see her doctor I took her to Health store that EVERYBODY here recommend. So I went there had a talk with person who works there ( he knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING, and I was surprised how much he knew about childhood cancer and types etc.) I left store with 2 probiotics. SAMBUCOL, black eldeberry for kids and Primadophilus powder for kids. He told me that Regina has to take at least 3 bottles( Once a day, for 36 days) of Sambucol before her immune system starts building up and she starts fighting off infections better.
I heard a lot of good things about probiotics, but I never did anything about it. But Regina is constantly sick and I am sick of antibiotics and I just want her to feel better . She has been coughing on and off since january and doctros have found no problems with her.... I hope it works. I know one boy in Reginas class is taking them and his mom said that he has not been sick for 2 years. Keep your fingers crossed. :):):)

Gabriel had his friends over today to celebrate his 5th Birthday. :) Gabreil was born on June 22nd Littlebit after midnight. On june 21st, 2001 I went to walm mart to buy some last minute things. Before I went to walmart I had my ob/gyn appointment. She told me that I was ready to give birth. So as I was walking around in Wal mart I started having contractions. But since I had Braxton hicks contractions all through the pregnancy I really did not pay much attention to my pain. I got my stuff and drowe home. Hour later contractions got bigger and more uncomfortable. But no real pain, just lot and lot of pressure. So I told nick that Ok, lets go outside and take a walk, because I was just feeling kind of weird and wanted to walk it out. After 15 minutes of walking REAL painful contracton hit me and then I knew for sure that I was in labor. :lol. I ran inside, called my doctor, they got hospital room ready and OFF we went to Mission Viejo hospital. I I started having REALLY REALLY bad contractions on our way to the hospital. Every 5 minutes or so. Hospital is 2,9 mile from us and ride there was fast but since there is about 20 traffic lights and I was having contractions, it seemed like we took 100 mile ride.

We got there around 9.45. Nurse there told me that I am probably not even dialated and they will most likely send me back home. BUT after they checked me and I WAS dialated 6 cm , everybody got really busy, really suddenly. THEY called my doctor and asked her to HURRY over. :lol.. I made one really bad mistake. I asked for epidural, BUT it did not kick in. Getting epidural was THE MOST painful experience ever. They could not get the needle in and when they did they got it wrong. and they had to redue it again. AND during that time I was having REALLY big contractions and my water finally broke. I managed to fall asleep and next thing I knew is that I felt horrible pressure and pain and I called nurse and -- gues what... Gabriel was in a hurry to get out. :lol I HAVE never ever seen nurses and doctors run so fast to get everything ready.

Gabriel was born 12.07 AM. 7lb,6oz. 19,5 inches. :) Perfect boy. :):):)
( arts and crafts table- I bought Floam, paint, wooden shapes ( cars, trucks, flowers). Kids had lots of fun doing it. It was messy,but kids love messy stufffff)

Today we had a party for him and he had lots of fun. :) I had bounce house for him, I baked him a cake and made snacks for moms and one dad. I did take few pictures, but I had a bad picture day today. None of my pics turned out really good. I usually get few really good prints, but today was one of those - What the heck was I thinking by taking that pic- kind of day. :)

MS carol. :) You are awsome:) You should have seen Gabriels face when I YELLED- GABRIEL, YOU GOT MAIL. He dropped his video game, ran downstairs and ripped open his envelope- MOM , HOW DID SHE KNOW THAT I WANTED IT cars sticker book)??? ;lo He is funny. :)

Tomorrow I will take my kids to see Cars Movie. I have red them lots of cars books , He got few CARS presents and now it is time to see the MOVIE :):):)

My Gabriel...

He is not feeling well today. It was his last day in Tutor Time and when I picked him up his teacher told me that Gabriel has been feeling down and not eating and wanting to sleep. So I gathered all his things, and was about to take him home, when he started throwing up. Poor him. He got a low fever also. I took him to his doctor and I was told that there is virus going around. He should feel better soon. On sunday we will have little party for Gabriel.. I hope he feels better then.:)

Nothing much has been going on around here. I take kids to school every morning and pick them up when school is over. Same old, same old. This week Is Gabriels last week in Tutor time. I feel little sad. :( It has been his second home for since he was 1,5 years old. And now it is time to say goood bye to tutor time and WELCOME to extra 800 dollars in my bank acount. lol ( thats how much I payed monthly for him). Tutor time has gone HIGH TECH... They set up fingerprint sensors , so prettu soon you can only enter tutor time if your fingrprint opens the DOOOOOOR... ;) That's hot...

Today I took kids to My Gym kind of place. It is very close to our home walking distance. You should have seen the smiles both Regina and Gabriel had on theyr faces when they walked into that simple kid gym. GABRIEL was smiles ALL the time. He wanted to do everything first, He raised his hand all the time . I teared up . He was sooo cute. :) Regina also loved it, but she was more careful about trying things, but she did try everything and did awsome :) SO I signed them up and take them there whenever I get a chance or when classes are available :)

Gabriels Bday is aproaching and I got him couple of awsome presents. :) HE really wanted to have car/truck bedding, so I got him This
AND I got him Nintendo Game Cube... He deserves it ::))) He is great kid :):)):)

Blah...

You know what- I was about to kick my dermatologist today ... I guess he was not having very good day, but is it my problem??? Anyway, my skin is getting worse. I get really bad brake outs everywhere and nothing seems to be working. So , I asked him what next, Can he run some tests or look deeper into it before prescribing me new meds.. But oh no, he wants me on steroids... He told me that every time I get one of those bad brake out days , I should take steroids for 4 days and then stop. Side effects- weight gain, moodiness, and water retention( spelling?) .
First image that comes to my head with word STEROIDS are kids I met in st Jude who were on Steroids( swollen red faces, rash...etc). I have this mental image in my head that after I take one of those pills , my face/head swells up like an balloon and then explodes...
I am just so tired of dealing with bad body acne and worse of all, most of people do not belive me that it can be frustrating. If you never had acne problems , then you do not know ....
I can not wear short sleave shirts when I have brake outs because my arms/ neck/ body looks horrible. I can not suntan because if I do ,I get brake outs, I can drink wine, but I get white fluid filled clusters all over my body... I am just so tired of all this. I do not want to spend a penny for some prescripiton meds that do not work... What is my organism lacking? Or what am I having to much? ALl my blood tests came back within normal limits. I take my vitamins, eat salads, fruits, chicken fish???
I am 28, and all I am dealing with is something I should not be dealing at this age...
Sorry, another self pity blog..... I want to go to movies and see Nacho Libre ....

Memoirs of a Geisha ---- I loved it. I loved the ending. I usually do not like romantic movies but this one was just something I needed to see... Beautiful.

Shopgirl- it was interesting. Again , one of those NOT MY TYPE kind of movies, but I liked it.

Must love dogs- I hated it. Waste of time.

The Aviator - Not my style at all.


And that is it for today. I am trying to loose some weight before my China trip, but it is not happening. My dear neighbors always have something going on .. and you know my relationship with food....

My sweet Gabriel. lol Last night I went to check on kids( around 11 pm) and this is how I found Gabriel. lol I just had to take picture of him. Covered with pillow. He has 4-5 blankets he can choose from every night, but he chose pillow instead.lol He is very silly, ( notice his Barbie Anika( I think from princess and pauper.)

Fun saturday...

Saturday was one very very busy day. Well, May has been very busy birthday month. Seems like EVERYBODY has birthday in may. lol Our morning started 9 am. We went to our community park because our neighbors invited us over for a playdate. We stayed there until 12 .

Then 3 pm we went to Princess Birthday party. It was such a cute party. Princess did awsome job singing songs, dancing, telling a story and drinking "tea" with kids. Very well organized party. Regina had fun but Gabriel kept a distance from girls.... lol

We had to leave early because I did not want to make my 8 months pregnant friend mad. Her daughter turned 2 and they had Barney Birthday.lol Yes, around here parents compete who has best birthday, best characters, best goodies...lol

At least it was not one of those Georges Jungle or Jump and jammin gyms( with bouncehouses).
And "renting a character for an hour is around 170 to whatever amount of dollars - it depends what you want, how long you want, etc.

Barney party was ok. ( sorry miss S.) All that mattered was that her Daughter was in Heaven because BARNEY was there. She kept blowing kisses to barney, showed him( well, it was her inside) house and did not leave his sight not even for a second. Mission completed. :) We got home around 7 pm. I had to cook kids dinner because they never find anything to eat at partys. lol. All they wanted was plain macaroni and butter.

Today I am going to make my kids sad and pack away all the " baby books and toys". ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. NO MORE TOYS. I am done with them. My house is so cluttered because of toys. OK. Off I go to clean my own mess.....

Gabriels Birthday is on June 22. Since we will be china I am planning to have his party on June 11th. (from 4PM till 6 or 7 PM). Since he wans his Bday to have CAR theme I came up with this idea for his Invitations. :) I also got car plates, and napkins and hats and all the other stuff needed for succesful boy birthay. Now I am looking for activities for boys to do. I think I will be getting some plain wooden cars, buy some markers and let boys decorate their own cars. I also have to bake him CAR cake ( last year It was train cake). OH. I will not have BIG birthay. Probably around 6 or 7 kids total. If you have nothing else to do on 11th, please race on over. :) OH, Gabriel will be 5 years old. :)

Happy Mothers Day from happiest place on earth :) Our firends invited us to join them in Disneyland( Ca one). We had fun filled 7 hours . We took rides, met princesses, ate lunch, watched couple of 3D shows and spent money in gift shop. It was fun Mothers Day. :)

Sorry for not letting you guys know whats up with Regina. :) She is doing really good now. She has another 5 days left on her antibiotics. She is feeling and doing awsome. :) Gabriel was doing really bad for 4 days. I thought I will have to take him to his doctor, but I decided to wait and just give him over the counter meds. So now he Is doing better also.

Every year since 2001 Regina gets sick in end of April/ beginning of may. I was watching View yesterday and they were talking that allergies are worst during those 2 months.. and if people get sick every year same time It might be because of allergies. So I guess all those blossoming trees and flowers and dust pay big role making her sick. :(

Now for fun part. We had fun filled weekend. On friday night Nick and I went clubbing. We left our kids with babysitter. I had so much fun just hanging out in VIP lounge and stuffing my purse with guys phonenumbers. ( seriosly;) ). On saturday we went to to spend a night in W hotel. We took kids with us. It is beautiful hotel and I like the area. Very nice and clean and quiet. Since we had kids with us and hotel was NOT kids friendly ( it is PET friendly, there was menu for pets), we had to go out to have dinner. After dinner we just crashed on sofa and wathced Law and Order because I still had hangover from Friday night. And that was it. 400 dollars per night- OVERPRICED.

Sunday was cool. We went to Anahaim Hills and celebrated our friends christening in Anahaim hills Country club. We had huuuuge brunch( crab legs, shrimp, salmon, cheeses, lots of desserts, sparkling wine, salads, pastas.... you name it, WE ATE IT. lol I forgot how much I hated buffets....;)

On monday we had friends over because it was My Birthay ( 28th). Nothing major. Nick cooked dinner , I made salad and cheeses, brought triple chocolate mousse cake, and made food for 6 kids. After dinner we watched that dumb dude trying to kill himself under water... Nothing magic about that.

Tuesday we went out to see Mission impossible 3-- I LOVED IT. To much TOM, but it was good. And then we went to eat Persian food. And now I am home, nick is back in china and I am trying to get started with my diet again. WEEK full of food, not good for anyone. :)

Ugh. Update...

Monday--
Nick took Regina to see doc again because last night was just horrible. She was caughing all night long without getting any sleep. :( Well, now she has full blown sinus infection. We got her antibiotics changed and she has to take them for 2 weeks. I just knew that I was right about her condition. I know her really well, I know what meds work and what dont, and it drives me grazy when doctors tell me that THEY know better. ( sometimes they do, but.... )

She took her first dose 2 hours ago and she allready feels better. :) The other meds made her really sleepy, cranky, tired emotional.

Today we went to Long Beach Aquarium.
Regina is not feeling well. Her strep throat is fine, but you should hear her cough. Constant cough and rash on her face is still there. It is not going anywhere. I omited milk from her diet, so it could not be because of dairy products. Gabriel is also getting sick. Same thing. They both are coughing.
My dh is home and kids are sick. I have 3 kids and no help.

Last year on april 30th both of my kids were sick as well.

Poor Regina.

She is not feelin very good today. She is doing ok, but she is not herself. :( To make things worse, today started with cough and rash covering her body. I called her doc, but her doctor was out of office today ,so I took her to my doctor. I thought that she may have allergies to penicillin,but doc sayd that penicillin allergry does not look like this, she thinks that her strep throat invited friend over so now they are having a party. She has no idea at this point what kind of rash it is. :( Bummer. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
Today her and I stayed home- well, almost home. I took her to mall and strolled around there for few hours. She was happy about it. She had very little to eat for lunch since her throat hurts. She told me that she is still hungry, but she can not eat because it hurts a lot .:( She even did not drink her favorite Jamba juice Mango-A-Go-go. She ALWAYS has it with her lunch in mall. :(
Maybe tomorrow is better day.:)

Update6.30pm.
Regina has strep throat. Doctor is not sure why Reginas back hurts. And rash on her face is ezcema. SHe has not had eczema outbrake for 3 years and now it is back. Could be that she has developed some new food allergies and we have to look out what she is eating now and what makes her eczema worse. :( Poor her. I hope that her milk allergies are not back. :( Now let just hope that antibiotics take care of her ST. :)


Couple of days ago regina got a fewer blister on her lip. I just knew then that In couple of days she will get sick. I was right about it. Last night she was caughing a lot and this morning she woke up crying. When I asked what is wrong , she told me that her back hurts a lot. When I tryed to touch her back , she told me that it hurts to much and I should stop touching it.:(:( . She also has swollen face and she has hard time swollowing food or drink. :( Poor her, I can see that she feels very uncomfortable. :(

Nothing much is going on around here. Kids are doing pretty good. Regina is getting smarter day by day and Gabriel just tests my nerves every single day. lol One thing that I do not like about Regina is how she throws her Temper tantrums. Those are the worst. She can scream and cry hours without any reason( or for little reason). For instance. Gabriel runs downstairs first and screams I AM FIRST. Regina starts screming, jumping up and down , runs to her room, goes under covers and SCREAMS. I HATE YOU GABRIEL. And this happened more than once or twice. SHe can scream , and tantrums she throws are the worst. It is like One moment she is all happy and playing and then suddenly her mood changes and she is all whiny, screaming and yelling :(:(:(:(

And now about something more exiting. :) We all got our Chinese Visas!!! Wohooo to us!! lol. I am not going to mention dates right now but we will spend about 3,1/2 weeks discovering China. :):):) Good for us :) Kids are somewhat exited. Gabriel wants to go, but Regina is against it. She tells us over and over again that CHina is boring, and she has never ever been in china. She wants to go to Estonia and eat Dragon candy ( kind of like saltwater taffy - strawberry flawor, but only better ;) )


Then my moms Birhthday is coming up . April 22nd. She was born on 1954 so do the math. She also mentioned that she has thyroid surgery coming up ( finally). Righ now she is really, really sick. There are days that she can not walk, she can hardly lift a spoon or fork, she can not feel her legs and is very , very cold. ANd doctors still do not have any straight anwers to her. or maybe they do, but I never get to know the whole truth.

So that is what is going on with us. :)

Happy Easter.

On saturday our friends invited us to Bunny Blast. Crafts, pony rides, rain , cold same old, same od ;). Pony ride was fun . Public places , me alone and 2 kids just do not splend well. One kids wants one thing other kids something else. 99 % at a time one ends up crying. Regina also complained music was hurting her ears and was upset that her friends told her that they do not like to play with Barbies anymore. :( . Then we had nice lunch and chit chatted for couple of hours and after that we went home. :0)

Today , after kids ate their breakfast and while brushed their teeth , Easter chicken came and layed eggs all over the house After they got all the eggs they had so much fun opening it up. All the candy went to trash because they really do not care much for candy or chocolate. 2 bites and they are done. They were exited for money, tiny toys, ( nailpolishes, airplanes, stickers etc) . I wish I could throw candy away like that. You should have seen them to run to trash and just WOOOOOSSSHHH all the candy there.

Then we went to see The Wild. Both kids loved it. I think it was because of all the stupid kid humor. I even laughed out loud, which does not happen often in kids movies. :)

Milk talk

Mommy, please take me to farm. Because I need to feed some cows and squeeze some milk out .
- Why do you want to do that???
- Because cows really , really want me to squeeze their milk out.
- How does milk get into cows??
- Cows get milk by drinking other cows milk and then they pee milk out from those white things, I think cows have 4 wewes (lol)
- Are you sure Gabriel that that is how cows get milk??
- I think so, but sometimes people have to squeeze milk out because it gets stuck in there.

- I don't remember. MOMMY, please , we have to go and get some milk from cows or Ralphs( grocery store) will go there first and squeeze all milk out, and then we can never squeeze it out.



I am not sure what got into Gabriel today . HE even wanted to have cow as a pet because they have cute noses. He also sneaked in one snail and worm.

I got creative today. lol . Happy Easter :)

Overdressed??? You think??? lol Today was really nice CA like weather. Our friends invited us to join them at the park. Of course Regina thought that it will be super cold in the park and that is why she MUST wear that jacket. Of course it was nice and warm and sunny and she had to take her jacket off( after while).

What a day

OH. Today I took REgina and Gabriel to Santa Ana zoo. It is abot 20 miles from us. It is a tiny zoo but since weather was nice I thought zoo would be good idea:) It was :) After zoo we wanted to crab some lunch and Kids suggested IKEA wohoooo. So off to Ikea we started driving On our way to Ikea something super scary happened. I am pretty sure that all 3 of us could have been injured pretty seriosly. But we are all fine but little shaken . I was driving about 45-50 miles an hour. Car in front of me braked suddenly. But since I had enough time to react I braked also. BUT car behind us that was pretty far from us and was probably driving 70- 80 miles an hour did not notice that we braked and hit his brakes about too late. All I heard was that brake whistle and then he missed our car by one inch. HE made really sharp right turn, I saw his cars wheels raising from ground, then he drowe few feet just on his 2 right side wheels, swiwered like in some grazy action movie , almost hitting highway wall on his right , then he made little left turn and his car was back on highway . It was scary to all of us Gabriel was yelling, mommy, mommy that car almost hit us, regina had no idea what to think and all 3 of us drowe about 5 miles in complete silence.
Thanks god that driver on that car acted so fast. I do not want to think what would have happened if he had hit us . Very scary.

We had ok weekend. On friday night Nick, kids and I went to Elephant bar to have our dinner. It was friday night and 7pm. We still had to wait around 40 minutes for our turn to be seated. Kids just love elephant bar. To bad they closed one very close to us so now we have to drive to Irvine ( about 25 minutes from us)

On Saturday evening around 5 pm we were invited to have dinner with our Sweedish friends. They could not attend Nicks birthday party so they decided they host a party for him. ( just us and them). Dinner was awsome -Beef bourguignon( french) ,it was sooo good. I am not meet lover, but E. just makes the best french dishes . :) Even kids ate it- My kids, who are pickiest eaters( well, Regina is, Gabriel is really good eater)

Then today I took kids to have burger king to have lunch. For our surprise we met some kids there Regina used to go to kindergarten together( J&J). Regina and Gabriel had fun playing with them. After burger king we went to Borders to read books and see whats new. I got one really fun book for them - Whats the Big secret- ( it explanes differences between girls and boys and other pretty important things. Both of them have been watching it and giggling. lol

Now they are sleeping and I am wide awake because I made one huge mistake. I bought Coca cola Black( new dring) . OMG. That drink is powerful. I did not even think about caffeine content in it but it has way to much. So for now I have had 55 minutes of cardio, cleaned, dusted, vaccumed kids rooms and all the bathrooms, did laundry and I still have some excess energy. lol

Tomorrow, well, whole next week Regina and I will be staying home. Reginas school has spring brake. I have no Idea what to do with her. I guess I just let her watch tv all day and make sure she is really bored with me. If you guys have any good ideas how to keep 6 and half year entertained all day long let me know. Because I am running out of ideas...

No news is better than good news - And todays top news are - CLEAN SCANS!!!!!!!!
yeah, she did her MRI without sedation and now she will be taken off from sedation list. :):):) She still had to have IV line , since MRI was with contrast. She did cry a little but was fine after she was introduced to Toy Cabinet. :)
Now we are hanging out here in St Jude Library and do nothing( but eating and being lazy) until we fly home tomorrow 7.40 am. ( Shuttle will take us to Memphis Airport 6 am. ) Yuck I hate waking up early.


Last nights flight was truly one of the worst flights I have been on. From OC to Phenix it was shaking and shaking and more shaking . Regina was asking were those white bags are because she thinks she wants to throw up. ( so did I ). Then from Phenix to Memphis flight was pretty good. First 20 minutes I was holding onto seat because I thought We are going down. We were flying inside the clouds and those clouds were mean. Seriosly. very, very mean clouds..... But we made it and that whats matters. :) Next time we will be here around 24th of July.:)

Rain and flying...

I just hope that tomorrow will be better day. We will fly to Memphis from LAX airport this time. Our flight is around 3.50 PM. We will be in memphis 11.10 PM. We have to take taxy from airport to hospital. On Thursday we have extra busy day( from 7 am till 4 pm). And we will get back to OC on Friday around noon. Whew. At least it is only one grazy day and I do not have to much think about wasting my time doing nothing. :)

Regina did something really cute the other night. Night before yesterday( on friday night) , I was getting ready for Nicks Bparty. I re-arranged tables, got out some chairs cleaned, etc. Suddenly Regina had an idea. She took some napkins, paperplates, forks knifes and set the table. And she told me. Mommy, I really want us to have nice dinner together today. Please call daddy and ask him to come home sooner so we can eat these yummy strawberries .
That was the sweetest thing I have heard from her for a while. :) 

St jude Travel office.

Every time we go to St jude we get one slip that we have to fill out and leave downstairs where is patient services. Slip is about when our next trip will be , so they can make reservations ahead of time.
Our trip is coming up next week ( tuesday) and we have no tickets. So I call them and guess what- They have not sent us tickets yet BECAUSE we have not requested them. So I emailed to Dr Gajjar and he told us that he will sort things out with Travel office and they will get back to us tomorrow. Tis is second time I have problems with travel office. Next time I will call them every week to make sure they have our info. lol But this is frustrating. I just hope that they do not have to change our schedule, because if they do I have to take Gabriel with us. ( Not a very good idea).

AND on a good note. TOMORROW ( march 31st) is my husbands 40th birthday. Happy Birthday Honey. :) I have been baking and baking and making sure markets have foods I need and were are best prices. Oh. I am exited. :):):)

ONe more week.

Sorry for not updating often enough. Nothing exiting is really happening around here. I drive kids to school every morning and pick them up every afternoon. In between I clean, shop and get botox shots ( Not really, but if you watch real desparate housewifes of Orange county, then you may think that all the females here are freeloading self centered h****. srry, just had to get that out.

Regina is feeling better now. She is not coughing as much as she did 4 days ag0. I am pretty sure now that her cough and runny nose has something to do with spring allergies. With she gets better, but when sun is out and all flowers in full bloom , she gets really congested and sick.

We also are getting ready to go to memphis. Our apointments are 5-7 april. So think about us during those 3 grazy stressed filled days.

Regina lost one more tooth. Total count -4-/ :) She looks so funny without her teeth. New ones are allready in and I can tell that she will need braces when right time comes.

FUN Saturday. :)

Today really was fun, fun saturday. It started around 10.30 in park. Around 11 am I received a call from Miss B. ( she was supposed to call me today, I even had it marked it down, BUT i forgot that she was supposed to call). Anyway, she called and asked if we want to go to see movie and have lunch. Of Course we did because we were pretty bored.
We went to plaza were we were supposed to have lunch and see movie. As we entered parking lot something seemed weird. It was 11.40 and parking lot was empty ( almost empty). We started walking toward Edwards( movie theater) and we were told that there was minor fire in theater and movie is closed down. for 5 hours. GREAT!!!!. So we had lunch and headed to Discovery science senter. Gabriel and Heather had fun, but Regina was bored out of her mind. Science is really not her thing.

After science center we went to Irvine spectrum. We went to see The Shaggy dog movie. It was ok movie- we did have some good laughs but overall it was really dumb ( YEAH, message kids got out of this movie was- IF YOU GET BITTEN BY DOG, YOU WILL TURN INTO ONE ). Gabriel is real exited about it. He wants to be dog. And of course as always- Gabriels fave part about movie was THE END.
Then We had dinner in Yard house ( I had California roll - It was really, really really good. ) and after that kids and us took a ride with marry go round and it was allredy 7.30 PM. Time really did go by really fast today :) It is 10.24pm. Kids are fast asleep and I am tired but not ready to sleep. So much to do, so little time.... ;)

Jog-A-Thon- Happy St Patricks day :)

Regina is third from right

This morning was fun!!! Really, it was really, really, really cool way to start a morning. :) There was jog-a-thon in Reginas school. Lot of kids raised lots of money for theyr school and to end a 2 week fundraiser, all kids who raised money and others too, ran for 20 minutes. You should have seen Regina go. She was really fast. She ran 6 laps. Unbelivable, I had no Idea she had that much strenght and energy in her. I am so proud of her :) She was so out of breath after she finished, but she was happy :) Go Regina :)

Oh wow...

Today was pretty eventful day . My windows are now all nice and clean. I had guy come in and clean all the windows, mirrows, shower doors, garage doors and everything else that shines. lol

nd the main event of the day was KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION. I can not belive how fast time just passes by. I got all the needed papers to enroll Gabriel to public kindergarten . Unbelivable, Gabriel will start kindergarten in fall. MY kids really are growing up. :( Reginas school has 3 kindergarten classes - 26 kids in each class, but seems like this year there will be more kids wanting to enter this school. Last year, when I did kindergarten Orientation for Regina, there were lot of empty spaces in room, but this time all the chairs were filled and people also sat on the floor. :)

Gabriel is really ready to start kindergarten. He asks every day when he can go to "Reginas " School. He is so exited about it. :) Jey for Gabe. :)

Regina is doing OK. She still coughs and has runny nose. One of the moms recommended ProBiotics , so off I go to health store tomorrow to get it. :)



AND all of you who know Steven( he had same kind of brain tumor as Regina). He had his check up in St Jude and has good news to report :):):) (((( Hugs and Kisses to Steven)))

Find my kids....

Last week I decided to organise my kids rooms- It was hard work. All the books, coloring books, cars, dolls, board games and other junk just started getting on my nerves and on some weird way things never stayed where I put them. SO now all kids toys/books are in one room, and beds in other room. Much easier to clean.
Next mission- clean up kids closets. ( even more junk there lol)

Regina is doing ok. On friday I did not send her to school. She woke up with fever and coughed a lot. Fever dissapeared pretty fast but she was still left with horrible cough. So I went to pharmacy and got her some med. I got her cough medicine she has never used before and it does wonders. it is a 12 hour cough medicine but it works for 14-15 hours. No more robitussin in our house. :)

Gabriel is doing also ok. He is more active than ever and gets himself in trouble all the time. Now that he is in pre-K , he has new teachers. Gabe has been in tutor time for 3 years now and NEVER ever before I got a note that he missbehaved or, did no listen , or disturbed others. Now suddenly I get note from teahcers every day that he just did not follow the rules and did not sleep- BUT , ever time I pick him up from shool he is still naping ( 3 pm). His teachers sound like Gabriel is the worst kid in group but same time I see other kids and if I have to compare gabe to some of the others- HE is an Angel. I think tomorrow I will ask directors permission to monitor him throug security camera to see what is really going on in his class. I'm sure he is not as bad as teachers make him look like. :(

He truly is good boy with very twisted mind. lol. He hugs and kisses me hundreds of times when we are together, he asks silliest questions about people and things and he loves his sister very much- he told me he hates Regina only when Regina wants to take his favorite Barbie away. ( Gabriels fave Barbie is annika from princess and pauper, and he sleeps with hem, takes baths with her etc- The other night I took his barbie away, he woke up middle of the night and started screaming- MY BARBIE IS MISSING, mommy FIND MY BARBIE... He is so attached to her.. :)

Other than that we are ok. Just do the things we have to do. :0)

As you may now by now, we spent our presiden Its day in San Francsisco. It was long 9 hour car drive , but worth every minute.
Sorry, I did not update earlier this week. My laptop has some weird hardware problems, shuts down when feels like and starts typing in random places. I finally got a chance to use my dh's PC.
Regina and Gabriel were not very exited to be in San Francisco. They thought it was cold and not it is not fun. The wanted to hang out in hotelroom all day and play with pillows and blankets. But they did enjoy cable car ride and hanging out in restaurants. They also liked pier 39 because there were lots of people and cookie shop and ice cream shop. But yeah, if you ask from them how did they like SF, they would tell you- Not fun, Disneyland is more fun. So now they have been bugging me about me taking them to Disney. oh.
I think because of cold weather up there, Regina cought cold or somekind of bug, because she has been feeling down and lots of foods make her throw up.
She also has been complaning about her back pain and at sometimes she has to lye down to make herself feel comfy. Uh, I hate when she gets sick, or even feels down. She gets this sad, empty look in her eyes and there is nothing much we can do. So hope that this is some passing bug and that she feels better tomorrow.

I want to brag...... My husband is THE best!!!! As you all know feb.14th is valentines day. I told my dh that I want to stay in and eat at home , so kids will not feel left out. And you know what my dh did??? He made me valenites dinner. Albacore tuna with asparagus and noodles( it was the best tuna I ever had- really!!!) and for dessert- lol , he was really creative with dessert. He made mango ice cream and fruit dessert ;) It was yummmmmm. Thanks for making valentines day so special( and oh,I forgot, before dinner I ate half a pound of Sees chocolates ( thanks Beth
:) )

Before dinner I took Regina to see Nanny McPhee. She really wanted to see this movie. I was surprised how good this movie really was. I thought it is going to be one of those really stupid movie, but 15 minutes into movie I started to get the message :) She also loved it.

To Kathy- Reginas hair is getting longer, and it is baby soft. Bold spot is huge ( much larger than stevens) and mostly in front of her head, so it is harder to cover .

Regina is doing good now. She still has congested cough. Friend of mine suggested that we would stop giving her milk for couple of days because dairy products cause more mucus. We'll see. I think it will be really hard for her to give up milk for few days. My kids live on milk. But whatever helps , we are willing to try.

Other than that we are pretty unactive. Kids are going to school,my husband spends hours on phone working and I clean or cook most of the time. I did start painting my family room. Last night I added one layer of primer, so now my family room looks peach. The color I want is orange- 2 more nights of hard work and it should be ready. :)
